A Message From Our President

Our company was originally founded as a joint office by professional experts who wanted to provide one-stop service. Since its inception, we have been developing new services together with professional experts with a view to “eliminating inconvenience” and “improving convenience, efficiency, and safety” in the field of high value escrow transactions.

We have sought the future shape of Japan’s title insurance and escrow business in the U.S., where advanced efforts are being made, and have created a new Japanese version of the business model by sorting out issues in light of legal systems and customs that differ from those in the U.S., and utilizing technology. As a result, we have been able to make transactions that used to require face-to-face interaction in terms of procedures and transaction settlements impersonal (eliminating inconvenience), create a single package of complex procedures (improving convenience), streamline administrative work (improving efficiency) through shared use of our operation centers, and improve security and compliance with increasingly complex fraud and criminal revenue laws, etc. (see below). We have developed a variety of specialized services to overcome challenges, such as strengthening our security infrastructure (improving safety) in order to respond to compliances.

Since our founding, we have been committed to solving the inconveniences and dissatisfactions of consumers and businesses by anticipating and responding quickly to changes of the times, and we have created a new business field (business category) of transaction management that had not existed in the real estate transaction settlement field. The next decade will see a new normal way of working due to the new coronavirus, and digital transformation in all areas under the slogan of the Japanese government’s carbon neutral strategy by 2050, which will usher in a society based on impersonal, digital, and automated operations. The Japanese government’s “carbon neutral” strategy by 2050 will usher in a society in which the digital transformation will proceed in all fields, and where the assumption of a non-personal, digitalized, and automated society will be the norm.

We will seize this transformational period as an opportunity to transform the transaction management (transaction management) business we have created to date through digital transformation and expand investment strategically and intensively. Specifically, we will focus on the following three areas: (1) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without time or location restrictions, through automation and cashless transactions; (2) an automated system that allows customers to complete everything from contract management to registration procedures from the comfort of their own home using digital devices such as smartphones; and (3) a system that allows customers to access personal property history information anytime and anywhere in Japan.

Taking the opportunity of the change of president, we would like to take this opportunity of our second founding period to realize new and innovative services in the field of escrow transaction settlement in accordance with the spirit of “Growing together,” our company motto, and with the basic policies of flexibility to cope with the changing times, commitment to solving consumers’ inconveniences and complaints, and originality that is indispensable for the society. We will continue to provide new and innovative services in the field of escrow transaction settlement in cooperation with professional experts.
