Basic Personnel Policies

Nakamura Escrow Japan considers human resources to be crucial for their business operations to achieve their “Growing Together” management philosophy. As a result, they have developed a fundamental policy for managing human resources within the company.

1. Vision

We acknowledge our social mission and responsibility, and we will adapt to changes in social conditions and values, create new values, and promote sustainable growth of our company by cultivating each employee as a skilled, collaborative, independent, and resourceful individual who can continuously develop and grow without fearing change. Our goal is to contribute to society through our sustainable growth while fostering a culture of diversity, openness, ethical standards, trust-based relationships, and mutual respect among employees. We also strive to create a work environment where all employees can take pride in their work.

2. The type of human resources we are looking for

To implement our management philosophy, we have developed the Nakamura Way, a set of guidelines for employee conduct. In order to cultivate human resources who can internalize and apply the principles of the Nakamura Way in their own behavior, we will implement a personnel evaluation system based on these standards.

The Nakamura Way

  1. Be confident
We create opportunities for personal growth by believing in our own potential, honing our areas of expertise, thinking for ourselves, realizing our own potential, and acting on our own initiative.
  2. Enhance teamwork
We aim to create a cohesive team that puts itself in the other’s shoes and shares the joy of growth together.
  3. Act retroactively
We make our dreams clear and act backward from the achievement of specific goals.
  4. Speed up
Speed is the frequency and rapidity of reporting. The service industry is a business that provides value in the form of time.
  5. Change
Keeping up with the changing times is the ability to always find what our customers are having trouble with. Understanding (understand) means action (change).
  6. Be fair
We will be open-minded in everything we do and think and act in a fair manner. Compliance with laws and regulations is not an effort goal, but an obligation.

3. Recruitment

We seek to recruit individuals who share our management philosophy and policies, are open to growth and change, and possess a willingness to take on new challenges in order to achieve our vision. We value diversity and do not discriminate based on age, gender, or nationality when selecting human resources.

4. Training, Placement, and Opportunities

Our aim is to develop human resources who possess strong ethical values, are adaptable to changes in society and values, share our company’s vision, and can achieve expected outcomes by working independently, collaborating with others, and demonstrating a high level of professionalism in their assigned tasks. To achieve this, we will assign tasks based on each employee’s career goals, experience, and aptitude to enable them to realize their full potential. We will also offer opportunities for those who are willing to take on new challenges and can work cooperatively with high ethical standards.

5. Personnel evaluation and treatment

We at Nakamura will ensure that personnel evaluations are conducted in a fair and transparent manner by aligning the direction of the company with each employee’s work objectives. We will evaluate the results and processes of employees’ efforts towards achieving their goals, as well as their adherence to the principles of the Nakamura Way. Personnel compensation and other measures will be based on these evaluations.

6. Work Environment

We acknowledge that the physical and mental well-being of our employees and their families is essential to achieving our management philosophy and promoting sustainable growth. To support work-life balance, we will implement measures such as reducing overtime work, encouraging the use of paid leave, improving the work environment, and expanding various support systems. We will also enhance the management skills of our managers and promote rationalization and efficiency in operations to create an environment where employees can work with peace of mind and realize their full potential.
